Description:

Luxembourg is involved in two A Interreg projects and takes part in Interreg B (ENO) and Interreg C (east zone). However, the Grand Duchy considers that its involvement in these programmes could be improved during the next planning period.

The study had to evaluate Interreg III implementation in Luxembourg with a view to optimising the programmes for the next planning period. On the basis of a survey of the main interlocutors (Ministries, operators), the ADE team analysed the difficulties encountered during current implementation and the factors preventing the potential target groups from taking part in the programme. These analyses were confirmed in several workshops with the principal programme managers. Operational recommendations were then drawn up for the next planning period.

The following services were provided:

- ADE was in charge of the study and developed the relevant methodological tools.
- The ADE experts also took part in all the working parties.
